   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar in a sizable mixing bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy</span></p>

   <p><span itemprop="recipeInstructions">Beat the butter-sugar mixture thoroughly after adding the eggs and vanilla extract</span></p>
